| The woman in the picture is a dear sort of person. She was not supposed to have pets but always had some kind of cat roaming around there, and had an abusive man who came to visit her from time to time. This man was supposed to be her 'boyfriend' who she could not or did not want to get rid of totally and was never happy about. The woman-in-the-photo is they type of person who like myself and my fiance, had to have affordable living based on life circumstances. |

Closure of The Motel One - East side of Columbus, Ohio

This is a story about the Motel One - now shut down, but was our residence from September 2011 until April 2012. I was not unhappy about leaving there but they had the lowest priced motel rooms in the city. In certain cases, the alternative to living there at The Motel One was homelessness. I could not obtain employment at all, and my fiance worked as a cab driver. - Kimberly Koerber-Bauer-Koerber
